I like that your healing pain channeling through the written word.Written words stay with us. Forever. Like your son. He's with us right now. What a wonderful gift to share with your readers. I think you're going to find great success here on Substack. Best of luck to you... may that fire hose continue carrying thoughts and words to the pages.

I’ve had circumstances similar to yours, Craig, a father, a mother-in-law/love and my only son aged 28, back to back to back. Although some of the specifics might differ I share with you the call to write and joy for the gift of life. Keep writing. Keep shining your light for others.

Thank you Eric for the share and encouragement.

Sounds like we might be soulmates.

Crazy thing I've never been more joyous. Faith is the anchor, and writing is part of the joy.

Keep writing, Craig. Yours is a voice for the times. I look forward to having more of your 'fire hose' writing pointing in my direction.

Thank you Mike. I’m finding writing is to our mind as push ups are to our body.

Our minds flourish as we age - while bodies fall apart.

So glad I found Substack for both reading and writing.
