I'm a fan of all the varieties of meditation, whether woo-woo or not. I go between guided and the silent version. Depends on the day.

Agreed. It's completely invaluable to me.

Love this! I instantly recognized myself as one with "Monkey Brain" and immediately visualized throwing poo on the computer screen.

The title is wonderful and memorable. I plan to use it as my reminder to give myself this ten minutes of calm. Thank you!

Mimi you made my day. My Buddhist friends all label me Monkey Brain, but I'm getting better.

I've been struggling with my Wednesday post, so I tried the Anti-Woo Woo method. It works. It was hard for a smidge, but it really helped me center. My post was done in about fifteen minutes (short one this Wednesday!). Thank you!

What a glowing endorsement! Thanks a million.

I was very pleased and will use it (hopefully getting better) each time.

Wait--we weren't supposed to drink coffee before doing our morning pages?? Well, that was NEVER going to fly! Cheers!

My question do you recommend The Artist Way?

Embracing the struggle, self-care, a spiritual connection (whatever way each of us sees that), and a strategy to formalize your process...I have enjoyed the book. I have adopted parts of it. I recommend anything that encourages a creative to be consistently creative, including The Artists Way--even though I didn't write it. <Grin>-
