I was using PayPal for my Ko-fi account and they consistently put a hold on my payments. I switched to Stripe. They never do. I used to work for PayPal as an engineer and we heard complaints all the time about that. You'd think after all these years they'd have sorted that out by now.

I’ve used Paypal since it began and have been pretty lucky, especially when I have a problem—they’ve been very responsive and I like their guarantee. I like Strip, too though it’s a bit more complicated to my mind. Both solid choices.

I had an account when I worked for them but this account is new. That's probably the reason for the holds.
